Foothills
Chapter of Alberta Retreads®
The Foothills Chapter of Retreads is a fast-growing group of
motorcycling enthusiasts based in Southern Alberta. Monthly
meetings are kept short to allow for either riding (Spring,
Summer, Autumn) or planning rides (Winter.) All makes and
models of motorcycles are welcome. The only requirements
for membership are enthusiasm, love of riding, a willingness
to share enjoyable riding experiences with others and $25.
Retreads Motorcycle Club International,
Inc., (AMA Charter 3233) with some 5,000 members worldwide,
all of whom share two things; an age of 40 plus and a love
of motorcycling. The Retreads, founded by George Spidell
in El Cajon, California in 1969, have members in all 50
US states, Canada and Europe

Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle Festival
The Blackthorn Resort, in beautiful East
Durham, New York will be, for the 10th year, hosting and
producing the 2006 Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle
Festival.
Over the years, several thousands of dollars have been
donated to various charities including Albany Medical Cancer
Research Program, Greene County Youth League, D.A.R.E.,
U.F.A. Women & Orphans Fund, Toys for Tots Christmas
Fund, etc.
All makes and models of bikes are welcome as well as are
all makes and models of motorcycle owners. We're located
within easy driving distance from New York, New Jersey,
New England and Northern Pennsylvania.
Your host hotel has plenty of rooms available, plus there
are many fine establishments offering lodging accommodations
within the immediate East Durham area. RV hook-ups and camping
facilities are also available on site in a beautiful forest
setting, with electric and water available. There are also
many fine establishments offering accomodations within the

This festival has something for everyone. There are thousands
of $$ in bike show prizes, Teresi Dyno-drag truck, huge
vendor expo, rodeo games, live music on the festival grounds,
bike builders, stunt shows, fireworks display, pig roast,
Aerial burnouts, spaghetti wrestling, music in niteclub,
camping & RV hookups on site.
